Facebook Spam Attack Raises Concern; RIM Rolls Out Two New Smartphones
A widespread spam attack on the popular social networking site Facebook has caused aggressive and adult effigies to be posted on some users’ profile pages, representing one of the worst security breaches in the young internet site’s record and lifting up fears regarding its vulnerability to cyberpunks.
Research In Motion has rolled out two new smartphones, Bold 9790 and the Curve 9380. The Canadian phone manufacturer said that the newly launched cellular phones will feature its Blackberry 7 operating system.
Apple has named board member Arthur Levinson as its non-executive chairman. Levinson is chairman of Genentech Inc., he joined as a research scientist in the year 1980 and headed as chief executive from the year 1995 to 2009.
Apart from a couple bulky memory chips, Texas Instruments owns the interiors of Amazon's Kindle Fire.
